These Douglas Scotland oxford shoes are handcrafted in Portugal in a quality black leather and feature authentic Scottish tartan wool in black and grey check. Our tartans are woven in Scotland. These oxfords go great with our black belt!
Liebre’s tartan fabrics are made by the world’s leading tartan manufacturer with a heritage dating back to 1892. Proudly made in Scotland, all tartans featured in our collections are made of pure virgin wool.
Our authentic tartans are very resistant to wear, wet and dirt. It’s a material often worn in clothes for outdoors. When dirty, wait until it dries and brush gently.
These oxfords are made in full-grain cowhide leather, which has a smooth, lustrous, and rich black colour. This leather will age very well and develop a particular beautiful patina over time.
These oxfords feature stitched leather soles following the Blake construction method and can be resoled. The soles include rubber inserts to make them better prepared to be worn on rainier days or cobblestoned streets.
Our classic shoe line feature cork inserts, which act as thermal insulator and cushion, increasing your comfort while walking. Cork also allows your shoes to breath.

All Liebre shoes look great but I decided to go for the Douglas because I need something classic to wear with a suit at work. This model is perfect for me. It has a little of detail but not too much. It’s a perfect balance between elegance and something different than the boring black shoes.
