The Walnut Scotland design is a beautiful new addition to the Harris Tweed boot collection, being made in a unique hand-burnished dark green leather, with a beautiful dark patina that will develop characteristic shades with time. These boots are made in the resistant Goodyear sole-stitched construction and feature exclusive rubber soles, which offer extra grip and adherence in wet surfaces. The Walnut boots feature genuine Harris Tweed, which is handwoven in pure virgin wool by Scottish islanders at their homes in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. These boots are handcrafted in Portugal with excellent craftsmanship and eye for the detail.
Genuine Harris Tweed, like the one featured in these Liebre boots, must be hand-woven in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland, using no electricity and with 100% virgin wool from Scotland.
Harris Tweed is very resistant to wear, wet and dirt. It’s a material often worn in clothes for hunting. When dirty, wait until it dries and brush gently.
These boots are made in full-grain cowhide leather, which has a smooth, lustrous, and rich colour in dark green shades thanks to the in-house manual burnishing process. This leather will age very well and develop a particular beautiful patina over time.
These boots feature anti-slip rubber soles that are stitched to a leather foot-bed following the Goodyear shoe construction method. These premium rubber soles have been specially selected for their durability and excellent adherence to wet flat or cobblestoned streets.
Our classic shoe line feature cork inserts, which act as thermal insulator and cushion, increasing your comfort while walking. Cork also allows your shoes to breath.
