Why is this shoe inspiring?
This model features an African Wax print from Accra, Ghana. The leather is a soft but resistant suede from Italy in a timber color. The sole is made of leather reinforced with rubber for an excellent traction. The process to make African Wax prints is inspired by the Indonesian method of dyeing cloth by using wax. Africans use the fabrics as a method of communication, with certain patterns having widely understood meanings.
